Refund policy

At Dinosaur Skeletons,

We have a 14 -day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@dinosaurskeletons.co.uk. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 26 Chatsworth Road, Torquay, TQ13BL

If your return is accepted, we’ll assist you with where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return question at info@dinosaurskeletons.co.uk.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@dinosaurskeletons.co.uk.

We take pride in offering handcrafted, bespoke reconstructions of prehistoric fauna. Every specimen is created with exceptional care, and we aim to provide a smooth and transparent shopping experience. Below you’ll find important information regarding ordering, lead times, returns, and refunds.

Ordering

Placing an order is simple—just add your chosen specimen to the basket and follow the checkout process. Please ensure your shipping address, country, and email are entered correctly to avoid delays.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed clearly. We do not profit from shipping—we’ve worked hard to keep packaging and delivery costs as affordable as possible. If anything looks incorrect during checkout, feel free to contact us.

Each specimen is a unique, handcrafted piece of art. Lead times vary depending on the size and complexity of the piece, as well as our current studio schedule. These estimates refer to the time needed to create and package your item. While we always aim to meet or exceed our estimated lead times, occasional delays may occur. Please note: we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processing.

Once your order is placed, Alex will personally follow up to confirm the details and keep you updated throughout the process.

Lead Times

Estimated lead times are displayed in the banner at the top of our homepage. For the most accurate, up-to-date information, please contact us via live chat or email at info@dinosaurskeletons.co.uk.

Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the bespoke nature of our work and the costly materials involved, we are unable to offer full refunds once work has begun on your specimen.

If you wish to cancel or make changes to your order, please reach out within 48 hours of placing it. After this window, or once production has started, only partial refunds may be available, depending on the stage of progress.

We appreciate your understanding and support for the craftsmanship that goes into every unique piece.

Returns & Damage Policy

Because each item is custom-made, we do not accept returns unless the item is defective or significantly not as described. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 14 days of delivery, and we’ll do our best to resolve it promptly.

Please note: we are not responsible for any damage that occurs during transit. We take great care in packaging each specimen securely, but once the parcel leaves our studio, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier. If your item arrives damaged, we recommend filing a claim with the carrier. We’re happy to assist you with any necessary documentation or photos required for this process.
