Species: Juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex – an early-life reconstruction of Earth’s most famous predator, capturing a rare stage in its growth trajectory before becoming a monstrous adult.

Length: 4.2 meters (14.ft)
Height: Over 6 feet (1.9 m) at the hips

Time Period: Late Cretaceous (~68–66 million years ago)

Skeleton: This museum-grade reconstruction is modeled primarily using research on ontogeny within tyrannosaurs. Internally reinforced with a custom metal armature for strength and stability. It faithfully reflects the unique proportions of a juvenile Tyrannosaurus, including a longer snout, shallower jaw, thinner limb shafts, and a more gracile, lightly built body plan compared to the adult form. The finish replicates fossil bone texture with exceptional attention to surface detail, sutures, and anatomy.

Scientific Notes: Juvenile T. rex specimens represent a rare but crucial window into tyrannosaur ontogeny. At this stage, T. rex was not yet the deep-skulled, bone-crushing apex predator of legend. Instead, juveniles were fast, agile hunters—possibly filling a different ecological role, preying on small ornithopods, reptiles, and even insects. This reconstruction illustrates those transitional traits: high leg-to-body ratio, low mass, and skull features closer to earlier tyrannosaurids like Albertosaurus or Gorgosaurus. The overall design reflects new research suggesting tyrannosaurs dramatically changed in both form and function as they matured.

Display: Mounted in a dynamic, forward-moving stance with elevated tail and outstretched neck, evoking a sense of speed and alertness. The skeleton is supported on a sleek black metal stand and is ideal for educational settings, museum halls, or high-end private collections.

Finish: Weathered fossil bone appearance with realistic coloration. Custom finishes available by request (e.g., darker mineralization, Hell Creek-style tone).

Assembly: Ships in sections for safe transport. Slot-together design with keyed joints; minimal adhesive may be used to secure parts.

Please note: All skeletons are made to order. Production time is typically 12-16 weeks, though this may vary depending on workshop volume. For current timelines or to discuss customizations (e.g., open-jaw mount, skull-only version, etc.), please reach out via chat.

Please note: Delivery overseas will comprise of several shipments. The skeleton comprises of multiple sections that will require assembly.  Please contact in regards to delivery outside of the UK.
